Up for auction/sale is a beautiful piece of California studio art glass history. This spherical cabinet vase features a vibrant golden amber iridescent fumed finish with a stunning, tactile "oil spot" bubble pattern that beautifully shifts tones under different lighting.

This piece was crafted in 1980 at the collaborative Morro Bay Glass (MMG) studio in California, founded by Nick Dunn and the legendary American studio glass pioneer Richard "Dick" Marquis.
