Antique Edwardian Hope Silver Co Hand Mirror Art Nouveau Floral Repousse c. 1905

Up for sale is a beautiful antique Edwardian-era hand mirror manufactured by the Hope Silver Co. (a trade name of the G.W. Parks Co. out of Providence, Rhode Island). Based on historical maker marks, this piece dates precisely between 1905 and 1920.

Design & Details:

The reverse side features a stunning, highly detailed Art Nouveau repoussé design with swirling floral vines, blossoms, and ornate scrollwork. It includes a smooth, unengraved central cartouche ready for a custom monogram if desired. The bezel and handle carry matching ornate floral relief work.

Condition Report:

This is a true antique over 100 years old and is sold in honest vintage condition:

- Metal: The silver plating shows a gorgeous, deep authentic patina. There is minor thinning/wear to the plating on the high-contact areas and raised floral tips, revealing the warm base metal underneath—characteristic of authentic antique silverplate.

- Mirror Glass: The glass is completely intact (no cracks). It features charming desilvering, cloudiness, and age spots around the perimeter, giving it wonderful antique character.
